Inspired by Scandinavian design, our main living area blends minimalist elegance with cozy warmth, making it the ideal setting for a romantic retreat or a family gathering. Huge panoramic windows flood the space with natural light, highlighting the impressive 20-foot cathedral ceiling and its natural cedar siding. Guests can unwind by the crackling wood-burning fireplace or enjoy modern entertainment with the included flat-screen TV, stereo system, and Xbox console.

Disconnect in a private sanctuary defined by heat, water, and the forest. Begin in the authentic sauna, casting water on the stones to release a deep, restorative löyly.
Transition from the steam to your outdoor hot tub. Submerge in the warming waters, surrounded only by the stillness of nature. The experience concludes under an expansive rain shower built for two, mimicking a natural downpour. This is a deliberate retreat—a space to reset and reconnect with the elements.

Tall Cedars Hideaway is surrounded by the forests, lakes and outdoor experiences of the South Whiteshell area. Whether visiting in summer or winter, guests can enjoy an active day outdoors and return to the private sauna, year-round hot tub and wood-burning fireplace.
Winter Adventures
Winter around Falcon Lake offers much more than quiet forest scenery. At Falcon Ridge Ski Slopes, guests can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and approximately 20 kilometres of Nordic trails for classic and skate skiing. Snowshoe and fat-bike trails are also available, with equipment rentals offered through the Nordic Centre at Falcon Trails Resort.
Nearby forest trails provide opportunities for winter hiking and snowshoeing, subject to weather and trail conditions.
Falcon Beach Ranch offers private horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snowy forest, including an optional hot-chocolate stop. Winter horseback rides may also be available. Advance reservations are recommended.
Summer Adventures
In summer, Falcon Lake is an easy destination for swimming, beach days, cycling, hiking, fishing and paddling. Guests can relax at Falcon Lake Main Beach, walk along the boardwalk or explore nearby forest trails, including Falcon Creek Trail and the trail network around Falcon Ridge.
Falcon Lake Golf Course offers an 18-hole course, driving range, mini golf, tennis courts and other recreational activities. Falcon Beach Ranch also offers guided horseback rides and seasonal wagon rides.
Guests looking for a more adventurous day can explore additional destinations throughout Whiteshell Provincial Park, including its lakes, beaches, hiking trails and paddling routes.
